Pair of Chinese Canton enamel bowls and covers, Qianlong (1736-95), rising from a narrow yellow foot, decorated to the bodies and covers with rectangular cartouches featuring an assortment of the 'Hundred Antiques', including archaistic bronze vessels and incense burners, coral, ruyi-head sceptres and fly whisks; the cartouches in reserve against a pale green ground with dense foliate scroll and large pink flower heads, the lids with further bands of pink foliate scroll to the handles.
