Queen's Burmese rose bowl, late 19th century, manufactured by Thomas Webb & Sons, height: 3 in., 7.6cm. Thomas Webb & Sons produced Queen's Burmese pieces from 1886 onwards, gaining their license from the Mount Washington Glass Company of New Bedford, Massachusetts. This type of glass ware became known as 'Queen's Design' after a set of Mount Washington glasses were presented to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
