Chinese small beaker vase, Kangxi (1662-1722), of archaistic gu form with trumpet rim, flaring base and central bulbous midsection; decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with two bands of stiff leaves to either side of the midsection, which is painted with beribboned babao including the ‘qing’ or musical jade and the sacred pearl, the rim with a single line in underglaze blue.
