Chinese blue and white plate, Kangxi mark and period (1662-1722), decorated to the centre with two boys playing in a fenced garden with a lady holding a fan underneath a willow tree beside prunus issuing from rockwork, the rim with four alternating cartouches containing peony flowers and fruit blossoms against a diaper ground, the underside with rocky islets and boatmen.
