Chinese blue and white teabowl and saucer, Kangxi (1662-1722), of moulded form with piecrust rims, the saucer decorated with a central roundel containing a boy playing with a ball within a hatch-pattern band, surrounded by scrolling lotus and peony, the cavetto with a lotus petal band and diamond-pattern design, the rim with four floral cartouches between striped bands; the reverse with moulded lappets, four precious objects (babao) and central mark; the teabowl with scrolling floral design and linzghi mark to base.
