Chinese famille rose teapot, Qianlong (1736-95), decorated to either side with a panel with scrolling edges containing a bouquet of flowers tied with a ribbon and smaller floral sprigs, with further shaped floral panels at the base of the spout and handle, all against a pink diaper ground; the lid of similar design and surmounted by a bud-shaped finial.
