Pair of Chinese garniture famille-rose vases, Qianlong (1736-95), decorated with vases of flowers and flower sprays enclosed in underglaze blue borders of scrolling foliage, height: 11 3/8in., 28.9cm; condition: neatly restored rim chips and chip to base. This pair of vases originally formed part of a five-piece garniture set produced for the European market. A baluster vase with the same decoration can be found in the National Trust Trerice Collection, Cornwall, NT 336480.1. SOLD
