Pair of Chinese famille rose small bowls, Qianlong (1736-95), with gilt rims, decorated in overglaze enamels to the central well with large blooms of peony, the interior rim with a band of pink diaper ground and four floral cartouches; the exterior with peony flowers in full bloom to one side, the reverse with chrysanthemum.
