Rare Dutch Delft lobed dish, c. 1700, decorated in underglaze blue and green and yellow enamels with a portrait of Queen Mary II between the initials 'KM' and above a half-wreath of stylised flowers, within a border of tulips and roses. diameter: 22 cm. 8 5/8in.; condition: faint crackle to glaze, faint hair-line to rim. (Mary began joint rule of England, Scotland and Ireland with her husband William of Orange following the 'Glorious Revolution' of 1688).
