Chinese blue and white tapering square section vase, Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated on four sides with - two warriors on horseback and two men waving banners - a man seated at a table by a screen within a walled garden and on the other side of the wall by a covered door stand a man and a lady - a seated warrior with his three attendants on a terrace watching a man performing on a carpet in front of a fence with a horse and rocks in the foreground - two ladies and a man beside a screen and table on a table making a presentation to a lady; the neck decorated with sprays of bamboo and rockwork, the shoulder with sprays of flowers, the unglazed footrim with glazed recess with six character Kangxi mark and of the period, height: 20 in. 50.8cm , condition: restoration to the neck, two long cracks and several chips sealed and filled to a high standard SOLD
