Pair of Chinese blue and white moulded dishes, Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated in the centre with a man and a woman in a fenced garden all within an undulating border interspersed with precious objects and a variety of flower heads, the outer border with a lattice design, the reverse border with branches of peonies alternating with precious objects, the outer base rim with lattice work and the eight Trigrams, the centre with an apocryphal Zhengde mark to the base within a double circle, diameter: 8 1/8in.
