Meissen silver-mounted octagonal coffee pot and cover, circa 1735, decorated in the Kakiemon style with panels of foliate scrollwork reserved on an iron-red ground alternating with a gilt chrysanthemum head, alternating with flowers and Chinese symbols on a white background, the cover, with a hinged mount, similarly decorated; the ear-shaped handle and spout decorated with dianthus heads and flowers, crossed swords mark in purple enamel to the base, impressed Dreher's mark of three circles for Gottfried Seydel, .
