Chinese famille verte dish, early Kangxi (1662-1722) decorated to the centre with a roundel containing large leafy peony heads, encircled by a band of ruyi heads in green and yellow with iron-red outline against a diaper ground, the rim with a wide band of peony heads against a red cell ground with scrolling foliage, the reverse with three floral sprays, a band of scrolling pattern to the rim and circle of stiff leaves around the double footrim
