Extremely rare Japanese decagonal dish, circa 1700, decorated with a fishermen, courtier and attendant in a boat on a lake between a rocky outcrop with a prunus tree and a pine tree, one figure hauling a net, the border decorated with leaves, the reverse of the cavetto encircled with a foliate garland, the base with a central square seal mark and six stilt marks, diameter: 8 1.4in., 21cm; condition: small chip and minute frits to rim.
