Chinese blue and white gu-form beaker vase, Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated in bright underglaze blue with lotus and scrolling foliage to the body, the central bulbous band divided by twin bands of ruyi-heads and a geometric design, an narrow twin bands encircling the mouth and foot, apocryphal Chenghua mark to the base.

Height: 49.6cm. (19½in.)
Condition:
Piece out of rim and repaired back in, fritting to the foot, small area to bottom of lower register with discolouration and shallow flake
