Provenance:

The primary entities behind this historic collection were Louis Morpurgo and his son Lion Morpurgo, who ran Joseph M. Morpurgo Art Gallery in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Alongside their commercial stock, the family amassed a collection museum-quality items.
