Large Chinese blue and white 'peacock' charger, Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated with a central floral medallion within radiating lotus-petal shaped panels of flowers, the wide rim reserved with four reserve panels containing peaches and pomegranates, alternating with peacocks, on a scrolling chrysanthemum ground, the reverse with ribboned emblems, diameter: 18 1/2in., 47cm; condition: fritting to rim.
