Pair of Chinese famille verte archaistic gu-form vases, Kangxi (1662-1722), the facetted square-form mid-sections decorated with panels of floral sprays, the upper and lower registers with precious objects including further vessels of archaistic form containing coral and feathers, beribboned scrolls, weiqi boards and ruyi-headed sceptres, all within borders of scrolling half flowerheads against an iron red ground to the flaring rims.
