Chinese famille rose armorial ashet, Qianlong (1736-95), of canted rectangular form, decorated in the centre with the arms of the Knott family (azure guttee d'or, a chevron of the last between three crescents argent; crest, a unicorn's head argent armed and crined or) within a spearhead border, the rim with a garland of flowers, width: 17 3/4in. 45cm; condition: small chips to rim.
