Dutch Delft blue and white tobacco jar, 18th century, inscribed to the front with 'Pompadoer' within an elaborate scrolling cartouche surmounted with a vase of flowers, with mark of Quirynus Mesch/Mes to base, height: 10in., 25.4cm.; condition: small flakes to body, tiny chips to rim, foot. Mesch was admitted as a decorated on December 18th, 1702.
