Chamberlain Worcester 'Dragon in Compartments' pattern armorial plate, late 18th /early 19th century, with lobed rim, decorated in the centre with the arms of ? (gules a chevron between three griffins' heads impaling azure three lozenges proper), bordered by lappet-shaped panels of mythical beasts alternating with vases issuing gilt foliage, on a seeded green-ground, within gilt rims, with the crest; a falcon tiring charged standing on a tower argent, diameter: 8 1/8in.; 20.6cm; condition: some wear and glaze crackling.
