Chinese blue and white lobed plate, Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated in the centre with a flying phoenix on a ground of peony, chrysanthemum and scrolling foliage, the border with alternating moulded panels contaning a monkey in a tree and flowers on a scrolling foliate ground, diameter: 8 1/2in. 21.5cm.
