Hispano moresque copper lustre moulded charger,Manises, circa 1500-1525 with cream tin-glaze, the rim band with swirling gadroons , the copper luster gadroons interposed with alternative gadroons containing seed heads and a geometric design , the central boss with a cockerel, a radiating cross leading to a band of pseudo script, the dish with a thin blue rim, the reverse with fern leaves, whorls and a rosette, diameter: 15 3/8in.
