Pair of Chinese famille verte double gourd bottle vases, (Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated to the lower bulbous sections with large stylised ruyi heads containing scrolling flowers against a green ground, below red bands containing white floral scroll, stiff leaves in alternating colours of red and green, and narrow cell-patterned bands, the tall necks with slightly flared rims decorated with further ruyi heads, the bases with concentric circles in underglaze blue.
