Fine Japanese foliate Kakiemon dish, Genroku period (1688-1704), painted in a bright underglaze blue, the centre with a ferocious tiger by a bamboo tree on a rock, the cavetto with eight variously decorated panels containing a dragon, a lady with her attendant holding a parasol by a waterfall and flowers and foliage, brown rim, the reverse of the rim with flower scroll, square seal fuku mark for happiness/longevity to centre of base, SOLD
