Chinese famille verte basin, Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated to the central roundel with two four-clawed dragons chasing a flaming pearl among ruyi-shaped cloud forms and scrolls of fire, the cavetto with peony and prunus blossoms, the wide outer rim with six further dragons chasing flaming pearls.

Damaged and base polished but the Kangxi mark can still be seen
