Japanese Arita blue and white vase, circa 1680, Edo Period (1603-1868), the oviform body decorated with a continuous scene of birds in flight, blossoming peonies and grasses issuing from rockwork, beneath a wide band around the shoulders containing scrolling floral decoration and ho- ho birds, the rim with a band of lappets, geometric band, condition: good.
