Chinese large ovoid jar Kangxi(1662-1722),painted with prunes and birds against a bright underglaze cobalt blue cracked-ice background. It is extremely rare to have birds incorporated into this design; height: 35.5cm. (14 in.).Cracked-ice design is a symbol of Spring.
