A Junyao shallow dish, Song Dynasty (960 -1279), the flat body gently rounding upwards at the rim, covered inside and out with a glaze of even greenish-olive tone thinning at the rim, inside of foot glazed, marked with label 'Bluett & Sons, London',

Condition:
Two small hairlines, four chips to footrim (tiny glaze fault to rim)
Provenance:
From the collection of the Principal Sture Nydell (1891-1986) and his wife, Valborg Nydell (1905-2003). The dish was purchased at an auction in 1964 at Sotheby's, London, earlier in the collection of Mrs R Colin Smith.
