A framed Wedgwood jasperware muses plaque, 19th century, of rectangular shape and decorated in raised white relief against a black ground with a depiction of five of the Nine Classical Muses in diaphanous dress, each holding an attribute of the Arts and Sciences, impressed ‘Wedgwood’ on the reverse, visible through a small window in the back of the frame.
