Extremely rare Chinese famille verte Jue, Kangxi (1662-1722), of archaistic form raised on three splayed masked feet, with single handle to one side, the exterior with a band of dragons with a cartouche for happiness and another for longevity above four panels of landscapes, the interior with a band of further dragons and a taotie mask at the lip above three fish in iron red symbolic of conjugal happiness, height: 3 3/8in. 8.5cm., condition: two hairlines to the base, one of which may be an extended firing fault- one of these can be seen very faintly on the interior; both will be bleached in due course and will be barely visible SOLD
