Meissen porcelain bullet-shape turquoise-ground teapot and cover, circa 1740-45, : with elongated cartouches containing figures in a landscape with buildings, blue crossed swords to the base and gilt 20 mark, the gilt spout mouldedwith a bird'shead and the wishbone handle with a shell thumb piece, height: 2 15/16in. 7.5cm., condition: minor wear to gilding Provenance: Probably acquired from Hugo Helbing (1863-1938) who was a prominent art dealer in Munich in the early 20th century. Helbing was arrested in the Kristallnacht and was beaten and died of his injuries on 30th November 1938 SOLD
