Chinese blanc de chine figure of a Guanyin and child, 17th century, (Kangxi period), the Guanyin seated on a rockwork base with a child on her lap, flanked by a vase and a book, attended by two acolytes at her feet with a writhing dragon in between, height: 9 1/2in. 24cm; condition: chips to tip of fingers on Guanyin's right hand, small chips to dragon, child's head broken and re-stuck. Provenance: From the collection of the Earls of Erne, Castle Crom, Co Fermanagh, sold by direction of The Rt. Hon Earl of Erne KCVO.
