Chinese blue and white tile, Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated with two birds in flight and prunus issuing from rockwork within a double circle, with a lozenge in each corner, size 5 1/4in. x 5 1/4in. (13.4cm. x 13.4cm); condition: two chips. Provenance: from the collection of Anthony Ray (1926-2009), ceramics historian.
