Dutch delft polychrome 'Bloempot' tile, C.1610-1650, decorated with a vase of flowers within a central diamond cartouche with palmette borders, dimensions: 5 1/4in. x 5 1/4 in. (13.4cm x 13.4cm), condition: lacks left-hand upper corner and wear to enamels. A group of such tiles can be found in the Rijksmuseum Collection, BK-1955-212-E. A similar tile is also illustrated in Jan Pluis, 'The Dutch Tile' p. 422, pl. A.05.08.08.
