Chinese wucai baluster vase and cover, Chongzhen (1628-43), decorated with a lady standing with her attendants two of whom are holding peacock feather fans and another two hold folded garments, while a man kneels in front of her beside two ladies in a fenced garden with lanterns, the lid decorated with four boys playing amongst rockwork and branches, height: 20 7/8in. 53cm. condition: rim of neck broken and neatly restored and hole to base neatly restored.
