Pair of Chinese famille verte dishes, Kangxi (1662-1722) with 'piecrust' rims, each decorated to the central roundel with a pair of exotic birds with long colourful plumage perching or flying amongst flowering branches of peony, the cavettos with a band of green stippled ground with scrolling flowers and four floral cartouches, the reverse with three floral sprigs.

One with two breaks to rim and shallow chip to reverse, the other with break to rim and associated hairline and shallow frit to reverse
