Chinese gilt-decorated saucer dish for the Islamic market, late Jiaqing (1790-1820), decorated in the centre with two lines of Arabic script 'Nawab, Amir of all the Amirs, Taraz-el-Molk, Behadur (powerful)' encircled by a band of demi-wave pattern, the border with a simple guilloche pattern, each loop containing a tiny florette; diameter: 8in., 20.3cm.
