    A Tibetan copper gilt figure of Amitayus, 15th century, the bodhisattva cast seated in dhyanasana, on a double lotus base, wearing elaborate jewellery around the neck, arms, wrists and ankles inset with coloured stones including turquoises, the face with downcast eyes, the hair dressed in a topknot surmounted by a foliate crown with inset stones, and with elongated earlobes suspending ornate inset earrings, the base not sealed, height: 3 3/8in. 8.5 cm. Provenance: Engineer Holger Rosell (1917?2009).     SOLD
