Large Chinese blue and white tureen, cover and stand, Qianlong (1736-95), the moulded tureen and large stand decorated with a willow tree in a fenced garden amongst flowering peony and foliage; the lid and gently barbed rim of the stand with flowering lotus alternating with a pair of ducks amongst grasses, the rims of each component with bands of diaper cell; the central domed section of the lid with radiating band of large leaves and surmounted by a moulded crown finial.
