Chinese famille verte water cistern (wall fountain) and cover, Kangxi (1662-1722), of baluster shape with ribbed wall, the body decorated with crabs and fish amongst aquatic plants, with moulded mask spigot, the cover against a fan-shaped panel bordered by two dolphin tails, height: 16 1/4in., 41.3; condition: top of cistern broken and neatly re-stuck, fritting and some wear to enamels, cover missing finial and small portion of rim broken and re-stuck.
