Chinese famille rose-verte charger, Yongzheng (1723-35), decorated in the centre with an amorous couple surrounded by a groom with a horse, a lady by a chariot holding a tray with a teapot, and bearded man with folded arms overlooking the couple, in a fenced garden with pagoda, chrysanthemum, willow and peony, with pairs of butterflies, birds and fowl, the border decorated with four leaf-shaped cartouches containing a lady and child on a terrace, against flower heads on a diaper ground, diameter: 18 7/8in. 48 cm; condition: repaired SOLD
