Pair of Chinese famille rose candlesticks, Qianlong (1736-95), after a European meta-shape, the square moulded bases decorated with alternate sprays of flowers and insects, the stems decorated with sprays of flowers and insects, height: 10 1/2in., 26.8cm; condition: one stick with hairline to rim and broken and re-stuck at base, the other with some rubbing to the glaze.
