Pair of Chinese famille rose moulded vases and covers, Qianlong (1736-95), the elegant baluster-form bodies each decorated with flowering tree-peony amongst boughs of blossom, between a band of pink cracked-ice ground to the foot rim and band of pink diaper with scrolling lotus to the shoulders; the covers with sprays of blossom and surmounted by a bud-shaped finial.
