Chinese famille rose 'Rockefeller' pattern teapot, early 19th century, decorated with two panels, one containing figures and a horse amongst prunus trees, the other with three figures in an interior, surrounded by landscape cartouches against a ground of gilded scrollwork, with a band of cartouches containing birds and landscapes against sepia-diaperwork ground on the lower section of the teapot, height excluding cover: 4 3/4in., 12cm; condition: frit to end of spout, some wear to gilding SOLD
