Pair of Dutch delft blue and white vases, early 18th century, the body decorated in the Chinese 'transitional' style with alternating panels containing a lady in garden and flowers issuing from a jardinière, the shoulders with a band of flower heads on a cloud-scroll ground, the neck with stylized foliage, height: 11 1/4in., 28.5cm; condition: one with pieces out of rim neatly re-stuck, two chips to underside of foot-rim, the other with some damage to the body and stress-lines.
