Pair of Chinese famille verte plates, Kangxi (1662-1722), each decorated with a central stylised cruciform floral motif and four large lotus-leaf cartouches containing prunus, pine and bamboo issuing from rockwork, interspersed by stylised lotus buds and sprouting grasses, the rims with narrow scrolling bands in iron red, the reverse with three peony sprays and central floral mark within concentric circles in underglaze cobalt blue.

Condition:
Shallow frits to rim, possible restoration.
