Japanese blue and white V.O.C. dish, 18th century, decorated in the centre with the V.O.C. monogram, surrounded by two ho-o birds (phoenix) among pomegranate and camellia, with six radiating border panels in the Kraak style enclosing floral decoration divided by narrow bands of floral scrolls, diameter: 8 7/16in., 21.4cm; condition: good.
