Chinese blanc de chine 'scholar' figure group, Kangxi (1662-1722), of Wenchang (the god of Literature) and an immortal, Wenchang is seated on a rocky base wearing large belted robes and a dignitary's hat, to his left stands an immortal holding a scroll, height: 9in., 22.8cm; condition: neck, back of hat and left hand of Wenchang restored, small chip to hat of immortal restored to a high standard.
