Chinese blue and white 'hundred boys' baluster jar and cover, Kangxi (1662-1722), decorated with many boys engaged in leisurely pursuits in a fenced garden setting, such as dancing, riding hobby-horses, playing with windmills and acting as scholar officials, all below a short tapering neck with Buddhist emblems, height: approx. 18 1.2in., 47cm; condition: restored frit to inside of rim, cover with restored hairlines and chips, finial re-stuck.
